St. Aloysius Gonzaga School Hosts “Little Gonzagaites Fun Fiesta – Gonzaga Kids Movie Fest”
Mangaluru, February 12, 2026: St. Aloysius Gonzaga School organised the Bagless Day – Little Gonzagaites Fun Fiesta programme with the theme “Gonzaga Kids Movie Fest” on February 12 at the school premises, creating a joyful and meaningful learning experience for its students.
The event was inaugurated by the Principal, Rev. Fr. Rohan D’Almeida SJ, in the presence of the Vice-Principal and Ms. Laurel D’Souza. In his address, Rev. Fr. Rohan D’Almeida SJ emphasised that every movie conveys a moral message through its characters. He encouraged children to watch films with their families, spend quality time together, and imbibe positive values portrayed in meaningful cinema.
Teacher Ms. Mishal Carel Crasta briefed the students on the importance of understanding cinema as a form of entertainment. She advised them to learn good lessons from movies without imitating characters blindly, reminding them that films represent reel life and not real life. She further encouraged students to focus on meaningful learning and value-based growth.
The featured movie, Mufasa: The Lion King, conveyed important life values such as responsibility, respect, parental guidance, mentorship, courage, compassion, and self-control. The programme began with an introduction by Averyl Rebello, after which students enthusiastically shared their reviews and learning outcomes from the film.
The event was coordinated by Patricia S.R. D’Souza, Averyl Rebello, and Anitha Nazareth, making it a memorable and enriching experience for the young Gonzagaites.
