Rohan Corporation Felicitates 72nd National Film Award Winners in Mangaluru

Mangaluru, July 25: Rohan Corporation honoured the winners of the 72nd National Film Awards at a special felicitation ceremony held at Rohan City, Bejai, on Saturday. The event brought together National Film Award recipients, members of the media, invited guests and employees of the company to celebrate their outstanding achievements.

The ceremony was presided over by Dion Monteiro, Director of Rohan Corporation, and Sumana, General Manager, who congratulated the award winners for bringing national recognition to the coastal region through their remarkable contributions to cinema and literature.

Those felicitated included Roopashree Vorkady, recipient of the National Film Award for Best Supporting Actress for Mithya; Master Athish S. Shetty, who won the Best Child Artist award for Mithya; Dr. Pradeep Kenchanuru, honoured with the National Award for Best Book on Cinema; and Shivadhwaj Shetty and Prashanth Rai, director and producer of Imbu, which won the Best Tulu Feature Film award at the 72nd National Film Awards.

Expressing their gratitude, the award recipients thanked Rohan Corporation for the recognition. They shared their experiences and reflected on the passion, perseverance and dedication that shaped their journeys in cinema and literature.

Speaking on the occasion, Dion Monteiro congratulated the award winners on their exceptional accomplishments and said their success had brought immense pride to the region. He noted that recognising excellence in the arts was a privilege for Rohan Corporation and expressed confidence that their achievements would inspire many more aspiring artists, filmmakers and storytellers.
