St Anne Ward of Paldane Church Celebrates Annual Feast
Mangaluru: The St Anne Ward of St Theresa Church, Paldane, celebrated its annual feast with great joy and fellowship at the church hall.
The celebrations began with the offering of the Holy Eucharistic Mass on behalf of the ward members.
Addressing the gathering during the evening programme, Rev. Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho, Parish Priest, said that the annual celebrations organised by each ward provide an excellent opportunity for members to showcase their talents, strengthen mutual relationships, and foster unity within the parish community.
Austin Monteiro, Ward Gurkar, welcomed the gathering. The ward members presented a variety of cultural programmes, adding colour and enthusiasm to the celebration.
A prayer service was led by ward member Joel D’Mello, while Shobha Monteiro, the ward representative, presented a report highlighting the ward’s activities and achievements during the past year.
The programme was attended by Rev. Fr. Joseph Coelho, Assistant Parish Priest; Elias Fernandes, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council; Roshan Monteiro, Secretary; and William Lobo, Coordinator of All Commissions, who graced the occasion as chief guests.
The vote of thanks was proposed by ward member Patsy Monteiro. The celebration concluded with a fellowship meal shared by all the participants.
