Mount Carmel Central School Celebrates Children’s Day 2025 with Joy and Enthusiasm
Mangaluru, 14 November 2025: Mount Carmel Central School, Mangaluru celebrated Children’s Day 2025 with great joy and excitement in the school auditorium, creating a memorable experience for students of Grades V to XII.
The programme began with a prayer song invoking God’s blessings, followed by a graceful welcome dance performed by the teachers, which set a lively tone for the celebrations. The symbolic presence of Chacha Nehru took centre stage during the inaugural moment, accompanied by Principal Sr Melissa, Vice Principal Sr Teena, Head Boy Kevin Kushalappa, and Head Girl Karen, who jointly unveiled a special surprise for the students.
A variety of engaging activities kept the students entertained throughout the event, including spot games, energetic dance performances in Hindi and Malayalam, and a colourful fashion show by the teachers. A heartfelt wishing song by the staff added warmth to the celebration.

In her message to the students, Principal Sr Melissa affectionately described the children as “the blossoms of the day,” expressing her joy at witnessing their laughter and wholehearted participation.
Head Boy Kevin Kushalappa delivered the Vote of Thanks, appreciating the management and staff for making the celebration truly special. The programme was efficiently compered by Teacher Sunita, whose cheerful presence kept the audience engaged.
Following the formal programme, students enjoyed a lively dance session to music by DJ Suman. The celebration concluded on a joyous note, with students leaving the venue with bright smiles, reflecting the true spirit of Children’s Day.
