Mangalore City Deanery ICYM Organises ‘Yuva Milan’ Programme

Mangaluru: The ICYM of Mangalore City Deanery, comprising youth members from 12 parishes of the Diocese of Mangalore, organised “Yuva Milan” at the Guardian Angel Church Hall, Naguri, on Sunday.

The programme featured informative and interactive sessions by resource persons. Maria D’Silva spoke on “Logged In: Media Evangelisation,” highlighting the responsible use of digital media for evangelisation and faith formation. Robin Vas delivered a session on “Master Your Money, Shape Your Future,” focusing on financial literacy and responsible money management. The participants also enjoyed “Pausa Khel”, a series of water-based games conducted by Elroy Omzoor.

A Holy Mass was celebrated for the participants and was led by Rev. Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho, Vicar Forane of Mangalore City Deanery and Parish Priest of St. Theresa Church, Paldane, who also delivered the homily.

The concelebrants included Rev. Fr. Anil Santmayor, Assistant Parish Priest of Guardian Angel Church, Rev. Fr. Lawrence Cutinho, Director of ICYM Mangalore City Deanery, and Rev. Fr. Joseph Coelho, Assistant Parish Priest of St. Theresa Church, Paldane.

Rev. Fr. Fredrick Monteiro, Parish Priest of Guardian Angel Church, Naguri, extended his best wishes to the participants and appreciated the organisers for bringing together the youth of the deanery through the “Yuva Milan” programme.
