Paldane Church: 9th Anniversary of the Legion of Mary Association
Mangaluru: The 9th anniversary of the Legion of Mary Association of St. Theresa Church, Paldane, was held in the church hall. The parish priest, Rev. Fr. Richard Aloysius Coelho, presided over the program and appreciated the charitable works carried out by the members of the Legion of Mary, such as service to the poor, comforting the sick, and their dedication to spiritual service, and conveyed his best wishes.
The Vice President of the church, Mr. Elias Fernandes, who was the chief guest, praised the activities of the Legion of Mary Association.
Association President Ms. Helen Lobo welcomed the gathering. Secretary Ms. Judy Lobo presented the report. Vice President Ms. Joyce D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks. Treasurer Ms. Presilla Pereira led the prayers. Senior member Ms. Stella Montero was honored for her dedicated service.
Also present were Parish Pastoral Council Secretary Mr. Austin Monteiro and Coordinator of All Commissions Mr. Joslin Lobo. Member Ms. Flosy Fernandes organized various competitions, and Ms. C. Vibha distributed the prizes.
