Puttur, July 9: St Philomena College (Autonomous), Puttur, organised an orientation programme for second- and third-year undergraduate students to prepare them for the new academic year with renewed academic focus, discipline, and personal development. The programme was jointly organised by the Student Council and the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC).
Presiding over the programme, the Principal, Rev. Dr Antony Prakash Monteiro, urged students to make the best use of the opportunities provided by the institution.
“Education is not merely about earning a degree but about shaping one’s character, values, and sense of responsibility. Let every classroom experience become a stepping stone towards excellence, integrity, and service to society,” he said.
