St Aloysius Gonzaga School Felicitates Young Sports Achiever Yuvraj D. Kunder
Mangaluru: St Aloysius Gonzaga School felicitated Master Yuvraj D. Kunder, a promising young sports achiever, on January 19, 2026, in recognition of his outstanding accomplishments in athletics and skating.
Recently, Yuvraj brought laurels to the school by winning two gold medals at the SGFI National Skating Championship, further strengthening his impressive sporting record. The school organised a special felicitation ceremony to honour his dedication, discipline, and remarkable achievements.
Addressing the students, Principal Rev. Fr Rohan D’Almeida congratulated Yuvraj on his success and encouraged students to cultivate a never-give-up attitude, emphasising the importance of perseverance and hard work in achieving excellence.
Yuvraj is the son of Mr Dheeraj Kotian, Quality Team Lead at Stats Perform, Bengaluru, and Mrs Veena Dheeraj, Assistant Professor at SDM College, Mangaluru. The unwavering support and encouragement of his parents, along with the guidance of his school and coaches, have played a pivotal role in shaping his sporting journey.
Yuvraj’s parents and his coach, Mr Mahesh Kumar, were present on the occasion. Vice Principals Ms Laurel D’Souza and Ms Aparna Suresh also attended the felicitation ceremony, expressing their pride in Yuvraj’s achievements and wishing him continued success in his future endeavours.
