Sanjeevini 2025 – A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp Held at AIMIT, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University)
Mangaluru, 29 September 2025: A massive blood donation camp titled “Sanjeevini 2025” was successfully organized at the St Aloysius (Deemed to be University), AIMIT Centre, Beeri, Mangalore, on Monday, 29th September 2025. The event was conducted in collaboration with the Government Wenlock District Hospital, Mangalore.
The camp was inaugurated by the Director, Dr (Fr) Kiran Cotha S J, in the presence of Dr (Fr) Manoj, Dean Dr. Rajani Suresh, HOD Dr. Beena Dias, Faculty Coordinator Mrs. Harinakshi, Student Coordinator Mr. Joyal D’Souza, Ms. Delisha D’Souza, along with faculty members, students, and non-teaching staff. In his inaugural address, the Director emphasized the critical role of voluntary blood donation in saving lives and serving society.

A skilled medical team from Wenlock District Hospital ensured the smooth and safe execution of the donation process. The donors, including faculty, staff, and students, participated wholeheartedly, resulting in the collection of 97 units of blood.
The event was meticulously coordinated by faculty and student organizers, with strong support from the non-teaching staff. Their collaborative efforts ensured the seamless execution of the camp.
