St Aloysius University Golden Batches to Hold Reunion and Convocation Ceremony
Mangaluru: The Golden Batches of 1974, 1975 and 1976 of St Aloysius College (now St Aloysius University) will celebrate their Golden Reunion and Convocation Ceremony on Sunday, January 11, 2026, at the Robert Sequeira Hall, LCRI Block.
The event will be held jointly with the 1970 SSLC and 1971 PUC batches and will commence at 8.30 a.m.
Mr Ivan D. Frank of the 1976 Commerce batch will deliver the keynote address. Rev. Fr Melwin Joseph Pinto, Rector of St Aloysius Institutions, will preside over the programme. Rev. Dr Praveen Martis, SJ, Vice-Chancellor of St Aloysius University, Dr Ronald Nazareth, Registrar of the University, along with faculty members, will be present on the occasion.
The programme will include the hoisting of the University flag, a formal convocation ceremony, felicitation of teachers who served during the 1975–76 academic period, and the symbolic passing of the baton to the next reunion batch.
The Golden Reunion and Convocation Ceremony holds special human interest and historical significance, celebrating lifelong bonds, academic legacy, and the enduring spirit of the Aloysian community.
