Bank of Baroda Marks 119th Foundation Day with New Digital, Retail and MSME Initiatives
Mangaluru, July 20: Bank of Baroda, one of India’s leading public sector banks, celebrated its 119th Foundation Day by unveiling a comprehensive suite of initiatives across digital banking, retail and MSME services, sustainable finance, and financial inclusion, reaffirming its commitment to trust, innovation and customer-centric growth.
The Bank’s theme for its 119th year, “Leading with Trust,” reflects its vision of fostering integrity, innovation and inclusion while strengthening customer confidence and delivering long-term value.
As part of the celebrations, Sachin Tendulkar, Global Brand Ambassador of Bank of Baroda and the Guest of Honour, launched the redesigned bob World mobile banking platform, offering customers a smarter, more intuitive, secure and hyper-personalised digital banking experience.

The Bank also inaugurated AAROHAN GCIC (Global Capability, Innovation & Transformation Centre), a strategic hub dedicated to technology, research, innovation and digital transformation, aimed at accelerating the Bank’s technology-driven growth and developing future-ready banking solutions.
Another major launch was ADITI 2.0, the Bank’s Intelligent Virtual Front Office, which introduces multilingual, voice-enabled conversational banking, enabling customers to interact with banking services through natural language.
Strengthening its retail and MSME portfolio, the Bank introduced several new products, including bob Elev8 Home Loan, bob Green PLUG, a lending scheme to finance EV charging stations and battery-swapping infrastructure, and the bob Agniveer MSME Financing Scheme, along with several other customer-focused initiatives.
Reaffirming its commitment to financial inclusion, the Bank also inaugurated 119 new Business Correspondent (BC) outlets across the country, expanding access to banking services in rural and underserved regions.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Debadatta Chand, Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Bank of Baroda, said the Foundation Day theme, “Leading with Trust,” embodies the values that have guided the Bank for more than a century.
